Would HG is the eightieth skill in the language tree for Welsh (assuming read left to right). It has four lessons that teach how to use the conditional tense for four of the most common Welsh verbs: gallu, hoffi, licio, and medru.
Grammar Notes[]
In previous skills, the conditional of bod was used to make sentences in the conditional with other verbs:
- Faset ti'n hoffi cath? = Would you like a cat?
- Basai fe'n gallu rhedeg. = He would be able to/could run.
However, you can also put these verbs in the conditional tense directly, using the same endings as bod in the conditional tense:
