Past: Dod 2 is the thirty-fourth skill (assuming read left to right) in the Welsh language tree. It has three lessons and teaches some new vocabulary to use with dod in the past tense.

  • daeth e/o/hi = he/she came
  • ddaeth e/o/hi = did he/she come?
  • ar = by, on
  • ar hyd = along
  • ar amser = on time
  • llwybr = path

Lesson 2[]

  • daethon ni = we came
  • ddaethon ni = did we come?
  • daethon nhw = they came
  • ddaethon nhw = did they come?
  • golygfa = view (f.)
  • golygfeydd = views (f.)
  • côr = choir
  • corau = choirs
  • mi = used in some dialects of Welsh with the past tense
  • ymuno â = to join
  • mewn pryd = in time
  • recordio = to record

  • do = yes (I did)
  • naddo = no (I did not)
  • yn gynnar = early
  • arwain = to lead
  • lôn = lane
