This tense is used to translate the word "when" if the action is a consequence of another action or of a short duration in the present. Other uses of "when" are covered in a previous skill.
This skill teaches the -(y)ince ending for this tense. There is no vowel harmony with this ending, unlike many of the other ones previously studied.
