Plurals is the seventh (assuming read left to right) skill in the Turkish language tree. It has three lessons and teaches how to form plurals for Turkish words.
Grammar Notes[]
Plurals in Turkish are actually simpler than in English! All you have to add is
- -ler if the last vowel is e, i, ö, or ü
- -lar if the last vowel is a, ı, o, or u.
This is called two-way vowel harmony (like the four-way vowel harmony from Accusative, but only two ways) and in Duolingo notes it is dentoed by a capital A.
