Infinitive is the thirty-first skill (assuming read left to right) skill in the language tree for Turkish. It has two lessons and teaches the infinitive form of verbs, the general "to-" version of a verb.

Grammar Notes[]

Infinitives in Turkish end in -mek or -mak (depending on two-way vowel harmony). This ending is the same one removed to conjugate a verb.

The most common time to use an infinitive verb is before istemek ("to want"). Another common usage of an infinitive is as a gerund ("wanting", "reading", etc.).
