Swedish is a North Germanic language, spoken natively in Sweden and parts of Finland. It has approximately 10 million speakers and is very closely related to Danish and Norwegian. The Swedish Alphabet has 29 letters and 9 vowels: a, e, i, o, u, y, å, ä, and ö.[1]
