deez buts nuts and bolts Travel is the third (assuming you go left to right) skill and the third unit in the Spanish language tree. It consists of four lessons teaching some words related to traveling and building names and one review lesson encompassing everything learned in the skill. In the path, this unit is named "Get around in a city".

Grammar Notes[]

Está and es[]

Both está and es mean "is", but their uses are different depending on some factors. Está is used for where the location of something or someone is, like a friend that is on a vacation to France, or a pet that got themselves trapped in a box. Although, it has a second use, as it is also used for temporary states of existence, like closed store during the night or a parked vehicle on the side of a street.

Meanwhile, es is used for describing the characteristics something possesses, like a red and yellow flag, or an oversized spider. It has a second use too, it can be used for the existence of an object or animal, for example, for example, a tourist pointing to the monuments in a city.
