Russian for English is a Duolingo language course, that teaches Russian to speakers of English. The course teaches Standard Russian, that is, the Moscow dialect.[1]

Well, actually, it was launched two weeks ago but due to some issues of the new course editor, it is only these days that we have started adding more than a few test sentences ...
History[]
On October 28, 2015, it was announced that the course was completed and would be released into beta within a few days. As of 14 February 2016, the course had 630,000 users. [2]
