Alphabet 1 is the first skill of the Russian language tree. In this skill, containing five lessons, the basics of the Russian (Cyrillic) alphabet are learned in preparation for later study. Also, some basic phrasing is learned in order to use the alphabet in context.

Russian lacks a present-tense "to be." Sometimes, this verb is indicated in sentence with a dash

Articles (a/an/the)Edit

Russian also lacks basic articles, such as "a," "an," and "the." Make your best guess at what articles you should use in your English translations.
