Romanian is an Eastern Romance language spoken by about 24 million people, primarily in Romania, Moldova (where it is called Moldovan) and surrounding countries. The languages it shares the most similarities with are Italian and French. It uses the Latin alphabet, but the alphabet has a few more letters then the English Latin alphabet, and some letters are only used in loanwords.
As of March 2015, Romanian for English speakers is under development in the Duolingo Incubator.
