太陽 (tai-you) = the sun ()

浅い (a-sai) = shallow
泳ぐには浅すぎます (o-yo-gu ni-wa a-sa-su-gi-ma-su) = too shallow to swim in
深い (fu-kai) = deep / profound
あまり深くなかった (a-ma-ri fu-ku-na-kat-ta) = was not very deep
