Lesson 1[]

夢 (yu-me) = dream (ゆめ)
幸せ (shi-a-wa-se) = happiness
たがっています (ta-ga-tte-i-ma-su) = want to
なあ (naa) = I wish
知っていたらなあ (shi-tte-i-ta-ra-naa) = I wish I knew...
であれば (de-a-re-ba) = I were
であればいいのに (de-a-re-ba-i-i-no-ni) = I wish I were..

興味 (kyō-mi) = interest (きょうみ)
目的 (mo-ku-te-ki) = goal/objective
旅行の目的 (ryo-kō-no-mo-ku-te-ki) = purpose of travel ("travel's goal")
しよう (shi-yō) = let's do / I will do / should I do
生きがい (i-ki-gai) = reason for living/purpose in life
いつか (i-tsu-ka) = someday

Lesson 3[]

ちきゅう　いがい　せいめい　そんざい　　とは　前面是引号 ha是强调
- 地球以外に生命が存在するとは思わない。I don't think that life exists beyond earth.
そう思わない (sō-o-mo-wa-nai) = don't you think so
思った (o-mo-tta) = I thought
書こうと (ka-kō-to) = of writing
書こうと思っています(ka-kō-to o-mot-te-i-ma-su) = thinking about trying to write
行こうか (i-kō-ka) = shall we go
帰ろう (kai-rō) = let's go back
遊ぼう (a-so-bō) = let's hang out/let's play
どこか他の所 (do-ko-ka ho-ka-no to-ko-ro) = somewhere else
向いてください (mu-i-te ku-da-sai) = please face

眺め (na-ga-me) = view
涙を流す(na-mi-da-o-na-ga-su) = cry
涙を流した (na-mi-da-o-na-ga-shi-ta) = shed tears
涙が出ました (na-mi-da-ga-de-ma-shi-ta) = tears came out / cried
涙を流さなかった (na-mi-da-o-na-ga-sa-na-kat-ta) = did not shed tears
涙が出そうになった (na-mi-da-ga de-sou-ni-na-tta) = I could feel tears welling up
みよう(mi-yō) = I will try
電話してみよう (den-wa-shi-te-mi-yō) = try calling
泳いでみよう(o-yo-i-de-mi-yō) = try to swim
楽しんでね (ta-no-shin-de ne) = have fun
楽しみたい (ta-no-shi-mi-tai) = I want to have fun

残念 (zan-nen) = disappointing
アイスクリーム (ai-su-ku-rii-mu) = ice cream
興味がある (kyō-mi-gā-a-ru) = interested in
ことがありますか? (ko-to-ga-a-ri-ma-su-ka?) = have you ever?
とか (to-ka) = things like; something like
ように (yō-ni) = so that
それほど(adj.-ない) (so-re-ho-do-[adj.]-nai) = not that much (adj.) [The construction requires -ない, a negative adjective.] (not to that degree; not so much as)
それほど悪くなかった (so-re-ho-do wa-ru-ku-na-ka-tta) = It was not that bad
聞こえるように (ki-ko-e-ru yō-ni) = so that I can hear
