Lesson 1[]

  • ビザ (bi-za) = visa
  • 観光 (kan-kō) = tourism / sightseeing
  • 観光客 (kan-kō-kya-ku) = tourist
  • 観光ビザ (kan-kō-bi-za) = tourist visa
  • 切れる (ki-re-ru) = to expire
  • 切れて (ki-re-te) = expired, expiring
  • 拝見 (hai-ken) = see
  • 拝見させて (hai-ken-sa-se-te) = let "me/i/you" see
  • 入国 (nyū-ko-ku) = immigration / country's entry
  • 入国の目的 (nyū-ko-ku no mo-ku-te-ki) = purpose of entry

Lesson 2[]

  • 便 (bin) = flight / service (can be used for bus etc.)
  • 手続き (te-tsu-dzu-ki) = procedure
  • 搭乗手続き (tōjō-te-tsu-dzu-ki) = boarding procedure / check in
  • 済ませた (suma-seta) = took care of / finished / went through
  • 搭乗中 (tōjō-chu) = now boarding ("the middle of the boarding")
  • 搭乗券 (tōjō-ken) = boarding pass

Lesson 3[]

  • 塞 (fu-sa) = block/obstruct
  • 締め (shi-me) = fasten / wear
  • 外しなさい (ha-zu-shi-na-sai) = take off / unfasten (take off/unfasten seatbelt, etc.)
  • 機内に (ki-nai-ni) = on board ("at inside the plane")
  • 手荷物 (te-ni-mo-tsu) = hand luggage
  • 通路 (tsū-ro) = aisle
  • 持ち込み (mo-chi-ko-mi) = bring / take
  • 持ち込まない (mo-chi-ko-ma-nai) = don't bring
  • 持ち込めますか (mo-chi-ko-me-ma-su-ka) = can I bring
  • 機内への持ち込み (ki-nai-he-no-mo-chi-ko-mi) = to take onboard ("to take towards the plane's inside")

Lesson 4[]

  • パイロット (pa-i-ro-tto) = pilot
  • 離陸 (ri-ri-ku) = takeoff (plane taking off)
  • 離陸後 (ri-ri-ku-go) = after takeoff (plane taking off)
  • 間もなく (ma-mo-na-ku) = soon
  • 無事に (bu-ji-ni) = safe and sound
  • 持ちですか (mo-chi-de-su-ka) = are you carrying
  • 着陸 (cha-ku-ri-ku) = landed (plane landing)
  • 飛行機を着陸させた (hi-kō-ki-o-cha-ku-ri-ku-sa-se-ta) = landed the plane
  • 危険な (ki-ken-na) = risky
  • 無事着陸した (bu-ji-cha-ku-ri-ku-shi-ta) = landed safely
  • 無事に離陸した (bu-ji-ni-ri-ri-ku-shi-ta) = took off safely

Lesson 5[]

  • 嫌 (i-ya) = dislike
  • 苦しみます (ku-ru-shi-mi-ma-su) = I suffer
  • 苦しむの (ku-ru-shi-mu-no) = suffering
  • 時差 (ji-sa) = time difference
  • 時差ぼけ (ji-sa-bo-ke) = jet lag
  • 学生っぽく見える (gaku-se-ppo-ku-mi-e-ru) = [he] looks like a student
