Pronouns is the 19th skill in the High Valyrian language course. it has 4 lessons

Grammar Notes[]

The personal pronouns work more or less the same way as in English.

Usually using a pronoun as the subject of a sentence is not necessary, but probably it is used as a way to emphasize the meaning:

  • Daenerys iksan: I am Daenerys
  • Nyke Daenerys iksan: I am Daenerys (Emphasys on I)

The app doesn't offer the accusative or dative words in the glossary, so we will put them here:

Personal pronouns
I You He/she/it

(lun.)

He/she/it

(sol.)

We You (pl.) they
Nominative nyke ao ziry ūja īlon jeme pōnta
Accusative yne avy ūī īlōn jemī pōnte
Dative ynot aōt zijot ūjōt īlot jemot pōntot

Using this words makes easier the use of direct complement or indirect complement, for it is only used one word.

I give it to him: (Nyke) Ziri ūjōt tepan.
