Food 2 is the fiftieth skill in the language tree for German. The skill teaches some more vocabulary relating to food as well as superlative adjectives (which are the best kind). It has five lessons.

Grammar Notes

Gut, besser, am besten!

Superlative adjectives are ones in English that end in -est or start with "most" - like biggest, or most influential. In German, all superlatives end in -st. Unless you're putting them in front of a noun, you'll use the phrase am X-sten:

• Die Schokolade von Julia ist am besten. = Julia's chocolate is the best.
• Das Brot hier ist am frischsten. = The bread here is the freshest.
• Omas Brötchen ist am größten. = Grandma's (bread) roll is the biggest.
