Grammar Notes[]
Plurals[]
Plurals are formed in Esperanto by adding -j to the end of nouns and adjectives. The adjective must "agree in number" with the noun; if the the noun is singular, the adjective must be singular, and if the noun is plural, the adjective is plural as well.
-ej[]
The suffix -ej is used to indicate a place. For example, kafo = coffee, but kafejo = café.
