Conjunctions is the fifteenth (assuming left to right) skill in the Dutch language tree. In the one lesson of this skill, the Dutch learner is introduced to a small set of conjunctions.

Co-ordinating Conjunctions
Co-ordinating conjunctions are used with two similar phrases. The co-ordinating conjunctions are:
- en = and
- of = or
- maar = but
- dus = therefore
- want = because
The word order following co-ordinating conjunctions does not change, unlike subordinating connjunctions.
