Questions 1 is the 7th skill (assuming read left to right) of the Czech language tree. It has 4 lessons which teach the basics of asking questions in Czech. Some more common nouns and adjectives are introduced.

Yes-no questions[]
Questions which invite a yes/no answer are written the same as a declarative sentence but marked with a question mark at the end. In speech, such questions are indicated by a rising tone at the end. E.g. Jsi kluk? (You are a boy?)

- Kdo je ta dívka? (Who's that girl?)
- Co je to? (What is that?)
- Kde jsem? (Where am I?)
- Jak stará jsi? (How old are you?)
- Proč je to malé? (Why is it small?)
- Jaký muž je Matěj? (What kind of man is Matěj?)
- Jaká je Kateřina? (What is Kateřina like?)
- Který muž je František (Which man is František?)
- Čí dítě jsem? (Whose child am I?)

- manželé = husband and wife (plural form, could also mean "husbands", masc. animate)
